Day 152: The Weekend is here...

At last, it's been a busy week work wise. Managed another 8k today which I was pleased about and it was also slightly faster than yesterday's which is good. Unlikely I will get a run this weekend as my wife has to work all weekend.

Going to try and keep a much closer eye on my calorie intake to ensure that I keep it higher when doing these long runs and I will just monitor what happens with regards to fat loss.

Hi Andrew. Hope you can find a fun weekend, and get in some of the things that you want. Don´t worry about fat loss...think about how fun those runs are and how good they make you feel. So glad you are doing better now....

Hey Andrew, I struggled with the calorie-intake on long runs very much and found out that for me the magic-foos is oats, warm oats or müsli. Sometime I run with a banana in my hand as I don't like gels or other "runner's food" and the competitions serve bananas as well during their runs.
