Day 32: Pain...1 month old!!!

Pain

Well the pain today is a lot more in my legs, certainly pain today rather than an ache but I still did my 5 minute warm-up on the treadmill and then went into the supersets. Today it was 3 sets of 15 reps of each:

Barbell Bench Press
Low Row

Standing shoulder press
Wide Lat pulldowns

Close drip bench press
Standing row

All with 30 seconds rest in between.

1 Month Old

Can't believe I have been blogging for an entire month, it doesn't seem like that!! Thanks for all your support guys and girls.

As I said short post today as it is party time soon. I will check everyone's blog tomorrow and give more comments and update you further on the HIT run that Adam challenged me with, well not exactly challenged, asked whether I fancied trying it!!! Check the comments on Adam's blog from yesterday.

Take care everyone and I will post more tomorrow.

Until tomorrow....

Enjoy reading your blog, great progress and disciple. Congrats on your accomplishment. What was your original weight or BF prior to starting this program? thanks

I think I'm a little early. Just tuning in to see how the party was and how your challenge within a challenge was going. I'll be back. Hope you got a little extra sleep to combat all the partying. lol :)

Hi Diane,

thanks for all your comments. It depends what you take as the starting point? If I go back to before I started going to the gym properly, I was 15 stone (95kg) and around 16-27% BF and this was in June 2005 so just over 2 years ago. My initial training got me to around 13 - 13.5 stone (82 - 85kg) and about 20 - 22% BF. I went back to about 14 stone (89kg) this year and then started my Personal Training sessions in early July which was about 16 weeks ago and this is where I am now!!

Take care,

Andrew

Hey Christy,

The party was good, been to better been to worse!! Main thin was I stuck to my guns, I had a good time and only had 2 pints and 1 plate of food, not the healthiest in the world but I went for the healthier options that were available and did not go overboard. It was not a late night as we had a baby sitter.

Ahh the mini "challenge"! Well I emailed my PT yesterday as she is now off for a week so the program is set-up on my key. Legs are still a bit sore so I am still in 2 minds whether to try it today or wait until next week!!!

I will let you all know in tongihts blog entry.

Take care,

Andrew

Dude, looks like you have everything under control. Big up and keep shredding. Thanks for the heads up on the ID pic.

Andrew, were you joking about the concentrating not to vomit part on Adam's blog? Yikes. I have not run that hard since I tried out for the basketball team in high school. (For the record, I did vomit walking home, oh and I kind of made the team and didn't really).

You are shredding hard. Sheesh. In college they timed us doing what our "coach" called the "run, walk, stagger" for the mile. 13 MINUTE MILE. This is when I was in college and weighed 127 lbs.

You absolutely MUST see the progress in your pictures now. Look at your arms and shoulders and abs. You look so much muscular and chest. I can't see the leg progress because of your outfit.

Get yourself a bikini. lol

Thank you for saying such wonderful things on my blog. It really meant and means a lot to me.

Hey Christy,

I answered your first point in today's blog, I was pretty to close to a chunder (do you know that phrase!) but I did hang on. I think that would be pretty embarrising in the middle of the gym, and how would you get all those little bits out of the treadmill!!!

I can see some differences now but excluding yesterdays pic, I took this not long after getting back from the gym after doing a superset upper body workout so I was still pumped from the workout.

I will take some pics of my legs soon, maybe after the shred so you have the all over. Might have to give the bikini a miss though ;-)

Take care,

Andrew
